Gosar Teams Up with Constituent to Improve VA |

This week I teamed up with Russell Walkner from Bullhead City to introduce H.R. 6675, the Independent VA Audit Act, legislation to improve the healthcare system of Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Arizona is home to tens of thousands of veterans. On any given day, veterans in my district contact me to share horror stories regarding long delays to receive an appointment for hospital care and medical services.
So when Russell came to me with his suggestion for an independent audit of the VA, I immediately went to work and turned his common-sense idea into legislation.
An independent audit of the VA healthcare system by an outside private auditor would increase transparency and provide the agency with an unbiased, comprehensive plan to correct these unacceptable delays harming our nation’s veterans. Thank you, Russell, for your great suggestion!

Biden Changes Immigration Mission Statement to Reflect DHS Will No Longer “Protect Americans” or “Secure the Homeland” |

I guess it was only a matter of time, sad as that is.
In line with his open border policies bent on demographically destroying America and its heritage and culture, Joe Biden changed the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) mission statement.
In a mere stroke of the pen, Mr. Biden stripped out the mention of our "lawful immigration system" and "protecting Americans." We should probably recognize that the drastic policy change on paper matches the last 12 months of open borders with 2.5 million illegal aliens, criminals, drug cartels, pimps, drug dealers and human traffickers into our country.
I maintain we need an immediate moratorium on all immigration and massive deportations of all illegals. Now. USCIS is charged with considering applications for green cards, asylum, refugee status, U.S. citizenship, work permits, deportation deferrals, and other immigration benefits.
Here's how the mission statement changed:
Under President Trump: USCIS administers the nation’s lawful immigration system, safeguarding its integrity and promise by efficiently and fairly adjudicating requests for immigration benefits while protecting Americans, securing the homeland and honoring our values.
Joe Biden’s new mission statement: USCIS upholds America’s promise as a nation of welcome and possibility with fairness, integrity, and respect for all we serve. No doubt this is more signaling to lawbreakers to walk across the southern border.

Also, this week I introduced a resolution expressing the sense of Congress that Congress should issue a subpoena to Dr. Anthony Fauci and reduce his salary to zero. Dr. Anthony Fauci has repeatedly lied to Congress and the American people throughout the entire COVID-19 pandemic. As the person responsible for public health, he has failed miserably at every point in this pandemic.
My resolution calls on Congress to subpoena Dr. Fauci to investigate the extent of any corrupt or incompetent activities he may be party to regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, including funding gain of function research, as well as his numerous lies, deception, and misinformation provided to the United States Congress and the American people throughout the pandemic My resolution also demands that the Speaker of the House provide expeditious consideration of legislation that reduces Dr. Fauci’s salary to zero. Dr. Fauci needs to be held accountable for his repeated lies, and my resolution does exactly that.

Congress Kicks the Budget Can—Again |

For the third time since Biden took office just last year, the House of Representatives voted on a stopgap funding bill to fund the government until March 11. We are nearly six months into Fiscal Year 2022 and Congress still has not passed a year-long budget.
America is flat broke. Last week the Treasury Department announced that our national debt exceeds $30 trillion, reaching a calamitous level and tripling in the last decade. Inflation is at an historic 40-year high. Yet Congress cannot do its basic job and pass a budget on time. Much less balance it. I voted no on this latest effort to kick the can down the road and I reiterate my call for a balanced budget. If we cannot balance the budget rationally, we need a balanced budget constitutional amendment that would force Congress to live within its means, like everyone else.

Is Your Tax Money Funding Crack Whores? |

Is Joe Biden passing out crack pipes with your tax money? You be the judge.
New reports this week note that the Biden administration is funding “safer smoking kits” to the tune of $30 million dollars for drug users in minority and underserved communities.
Who voted for this insane policy to encourage drug use is a topic for another time. But nothing says our society is collapsing more than tax money used for government supported drug use. The Harm Reduction Program listed safer smoking kits to be funded as part of a substance-abuse harm reduction grant overseen by the Department of Health and Human Services purportedly to combat drug overdoses in the United States. No one explains how helping crack heads do more drugs leads to harm reduction. These drug addicts need jail and rehab not “free” drugs and drug paraphernalia. In case you’re wondering, other equipment that qualifies for funding include syringes, vaccinations, disease screenings, condoms, and fentanyl strips.

Bidenflation Busts Another Record |

New economic indicators came out this week showing Bidenflation surged by 7.5% in January 2022. This is the highest rate of inflation we've experienced since 1982 and the 9th consecutive month where inflation topped 5%. What this means for you: according to Moody's Analytics, this costs the average household an additional $276 per month or $3300 per year.
In other words, that is like a salary reduction of $3,300 over what you made last year. Crisis? What Crisis? Remember this past summer when Biden insisted "there’s nobody suggesting there’s unchecked inflation on the way — no serious economist." |
