The last few weeks have been busy responding to attacks on my vote fraud research in Public Choice. We have engaged in a second round, keeping me busy this weekend. I also appeared on Chris Salcedo's show on NewsMax TV to discuss these attacks on my work.

Carl Moody, our research director, and I also put together responses to a letter published in the New England Journal of Medicine that guns are now the leading cause of death for those under age 20.

One of the hot topics over the last couple of weeks has been Biden's new executive orders on ghost guns and changing record-keeping rules for gun dealers. To discuss those new rules, I appeared on Sebastian Gorka's and Bill Martinez's national radio shows as well as Vicki McKenna's statewide show in Wisconsin, Colorado's Giant KOA-AM, and Los Angeles's KABC.

I did a television appearance on One America News on how progressives' soft-on-crime policies are coming "back to bite them." Other radio interviews were on Los Angeles' crime spike and our work on how the crime is spreading into wealthy, white areas of the county and whether California new gun control proposals stop mass shootings?

Nikki Goeser and I will be spending several weeks giving talks in Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, Argentina, and Ecuador during the first couple of weeks in August. We will also be meeting with government officials. It should be a very busy couple of weeks.

We have continued compiling cases where people legally carrying guns in public have stopped violent crime. Twenty-four cases from February are shown here, and a recent active shooting case that was stopped is available here.

We are continuing posts on defensive gun use by people who legally carry guns in public (February). Also, our series on how entertainment television shows provide a biased view of defensive gun uses and machine guns.
