ALBANY, N.Y. – While many servicemembers continue to fight for their right to refuse the COVID-19 vaccine, monkeypox has made its way to the United States and is being taken very seriously by elected officials. As monkeypox continues to spread, many believe that there could be another mandatory vaccine for active military members around the world. This could affect military readiness as adding another experimental vaccine to an already long list of vaccines might leave service members questioning their future in the military.
