Raising Rifle-Buying Age to 21 Would Disarm American Heroes and Spit on Founding Intent

  March 2, 2018 Too young at the time of his legendary heroics to be trusted with a rifle? (U. S. Army publicity photo) The latest citizen disarmament plot currently being hatched will raise the minimum age for rifle purchases to 21. While some are specifically calling out semi-automatic rifles, others want it all. Such plans are  gaining traction at the state and federal level by no shortage of Democrat opportunists and “bipartisan” Republican panderers, including  Sen. Marco Rubio  and  President Donald Trump . And now for a little bathroom gun humor- 'Only Ones'-style

A DA investigator has crapped out on one of the fundamental responsibilities people must assume when carrying a gun-- being responsible for it : LaBarre left his Glock 30 Austria handgun loaded with .45-caliber hollow-point bullets in the second-floor restroom of the Frank Crowley courthouse in Dallas... Luckily, a jail guard found the gun...It's unclear how long the gun was in the restroom, which is often used by criminals leaving the Lew Sterrett jail. What the story doesn't tell us is what punishment LaBarre can expect. We know if he had not been one of the privileged " Only Ones ," those deemed superior to you and me in terms of trustworthiness and competence with firearms, an arrest would have been made.
