Henry Repeating Arms donates $50,000 to DAV
ERLANGER, Ky. – In honor of Henry Repeating Arms' silver anniversary celebration, the Wisconsin-based company is donating $50,000 to DAV (Disabled American Veterans), an organization dedicated to empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity.
The donation is a portion of Henry Repeating Arms’ $1 million pledge made through the charitable branch of the company called Guns for Great Causes. The program supports a wide variety of organizations and nonprofits, including children’s hospitals, veterans’ organizations, law enforcement, and other first responder groups. The company selected DAV as a recipient to support veterans and their families.
“DAV’s mission is critical to the prosperity of our country’s veterans, and they have my unwavering support,” said Henry Repeating Arms CEO and Founder Anthony Imperato. “Our veterans are owed a debt that we can never repay, which is why Henry Repeating Arms will always find ways to help the cause.”
"DAV is honored to receive this generous gift from such an exceptional organization," said DAV National Adjutant and CEO Marc Burgess. "We are grateful to have been selected for this donation, and we look forward to our partnership ahead."
About DAV
DAV empowers veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. It is dedicated to a single purpose: keeping our promise to America’s veterans. DAV does this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them, fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill, providing employment resources to veterans and their families, and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life. DAV, a nonprofit organization with more than 1 million members, was founded in 1920 and chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1932. Learn more at DAV.org.
